Work

I am VP/GM of Yahoo!’s Finance, Autos, Real Estate, and Health properties, I lead all aspects of operations including advertising strategies, product development and partner relationships for these sites. I joined the company in 2005 as engineering director of Yahoo! Finance before moving to my current role in 2007.My work on Yahoo! Finance, the #1 financial site on the Internet with more than 37 million users worldwide, led to my being included in Institutional Investor’s “Online Finance 40” annual list of the top e-finance innovators in September 2008 (at #13).

I have more than 20+ years of technology industry experience. Prior to joining Yahoo! Finance, I held roles with Spoke Software, Public Mind, Enviz (acquired by Keynote), HP, Deloitte Consulting, and Texas Instruments.

Photography

I have been active in photography for 10 years and am interested in night photography, pinhole, architectural, and travel photography. These artists have been influential: Michael Kenna, David Hockney, Keith Carter, and Phil Borges. A major theme in my photography is blur vs sharpness of image, and how that contrast can represent fleeting experiences, memories, or emotions. I have participated in more than 10 group shows.
